rbti.gifMy good friend Susan Knox over at Corporate Connections has teamed up with RBTi, a leading information security solutions integrator, to bring you a fantastic event called Information Security Showcase 2006.

The event will be held on April 26th, 2006, at The Stoveworks building at 112 Krog Street (Atlanta). Things get under way at 10:00am and will go until 7:00pm that night, so you have all day to find a time to free up and get down there for some security love. The exhibitors will give you a firsthand look at the full range of information security technologies. This is a great place to get a sense of the “big picture” and to network with the movers and shakers of the information security industry. Some of the areas covered include:

    • Perimeter protection
    • Security Information Management
    • End Point Security
    • Secure Platforms
    • Secure Network Access
    • Policy and Policy Enforcement
    • Secure e-mail
    • Risk assessment / penetration testing
    • Network analysis & discovery
    • Compliance assessment
    • Vulnerability management
    • Training & certification
    • Wireless security
    • MailThrasher Anti-Virus / Anti-Spam Service
    • Managed Security Services

Also, from what I gather, there will be a food spread around lunchtime, and adult beverages from 5-7pm. Not a bad gig! If you are a security professional looking for the right solution, or if you are in career transition, this event could be a veritable gold mine for you.
You can register via this link, or by calling 404-577-0160.

    Cheers.
