    My Thoughts on Bert Ellis’ Latest Gambit

    300.jpgThe Atlanta Business Chronicle is reporting this morning that former dot-com pioneer and CEO of iXL Bert Ellis (my old boss) is embarking on a new venture called Brash Entertainment. The headline reads “Game Startup Raising $150M,” and the article goes on to discuss their model of building video games around popular movie releases.

    The headline was accompanied by a publicity image for the blockbuster movie “300.” However, there is more to this story, I think, than meets the eye.
