Is your Gwinnett-based business a “diamond in the rough”? Is it a tech-based business or perhaps just an innovative concept for a new venture? Have you envisioned starting your own company or know someone who has? If so, then the first annual Gwinnett Innovation Challenge may be of interest to you! Up for grabs is over $80,000 in cash awards and free professional services.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you aspiring entrepreneurs out there. You may compete as either a “seed” venture (green field startup) or a “growth” venture (existing business).

The Atlanta community is thankful for the support of such sponsors as Ron Verni, Nina Smith and the rest of the Sage Software team, Leland Strange and the good folks at Intelligent Systems, and Scientific Atlanta, as well as all of the other folks that are helping to make this program available.

Hopefully, this will be the start of many such business plan competitions within the state of Georgia. This is a great way to promote entrepreneurship within the community, and a tremendous method of fostering organic job growth within the state.

    Cheers, and good luck!

This is neat. Maybe I can “trick” my partner into entering into this contest.
